I AM CHRISTOPHER LEACH THE ARTIST. I started this blog so that I can share with everyone my vast collection of transport photographs showing a personal and nostalgic view of the industry with images that span some 45 years taking in the U.K and some of Europe. I have no darkroom and so rather than being the perfectionist after tidying them up I upload the images warts and all, and even those that won't scan squarely or are scratched. In a way it adds age and character. Enjoying the Greenery of Dartmoor on a Former Green Line Tiger.

One of the things I looked forwards to when I went to Tavistock was a ride to Plymouth on a Western National Olympian or Bristol VR. The odd long distance bus also called in as well like this Plaxton Paramount bodied Tiger formerly Green Line B291 KPF which I think was on it's way from Bude which offering an element of added comfort to it's Leyland sounds was also most agreeable. I'm not sure but perhaps this was a replacement for the Jennings service as previously there was often one of their coaches at Bretonside on the run.
